Jazz Nights in the Heights at Trailside Event Center, second floor of Trefzger's Bakery, 4416 N. Prospect Road, Peoria Heights.
For our annual Student Appreciation Night, CIJS presents Knox Jazz Ensemble with very special guest Galesburg High School Jazz Band: two highly respected student groups out of the active jazz community of Galesburg, Illinois, where both perform regularly at venues such as Galesburg Community Arts Center and the renowned Rootabaga Jazz Festival.

The Central Illinois Jazz Society House Band will play during the first set, under the leadership of Larry Harms - sax
. The CIJS House Band features outstanding jazz musicians from the area. They will present a mixture of jazz styles. For more information visit www.cijs.org or call 243-1582. Beverages are available for purchase at this live jazz program.
Admission: $8.00 Members $12.00 Non-Members Students are free
