The Brazilionaires sound is an infectious, jazzy blend of sambas, bossa novas, & other Latin rhythms. The band's music can be heard on radio & streaming sites like Pandora & Spotify. Since forming in 2012, the band has developed a strong following with their dynamic stage show. Besides performing their original compositions, the band is also known to give a “Latin twist” to popular jazz & pop hits, to the delight of the crowd. The band is fronted by vocalist Dove Benoit and guitarist Rico Wayne Johnson (graduate of Guitar Institute of Technology, LA). And backed by a stellar cast of musicians that includes trumpeter Todd Kelly (Bradley Univ Jazz Dir), saxophonist Jim Curless (longtime Central IL jazz musician), bassist Andy Crawford (Knox College Jazz instructor), Tom Marko (IL State Univ Jazz Dir) and percussionist Jose Reyes (former NYC salsa scene percussionist). The Brazilionaires are currently working on their second album, entitled "Proximo", due out in the Fall of 2017.
